Preserve Orange County has two walking tours in the residential neighborhood and National Historic district of Floral Park in Santa Ana, one on N. Heliotrope and the other on N. Victoria Drive. This one is for Heliotrope Drive.
Led by our popular tour guide, Tim Rush, you will learn about the 1920s and 1930s revival styles and the history of this tony part of Santa Ana. Tim is an historic preservation advocate and real estate executive. A long-time resident of Santa Ana, he is a founding board member of Preserve Orange County and past Chair of the Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana. Tim is a docent for the annual Floral Park Home and Garden Tour in April and originated this tour to support the preservation advocacy work of Preserve Orange County.
